Joe E. Brown got a face you can't help to smile at. A natural for comedies and here he gets to be a Texan out of his element on Broadway getting into show business with all his life savings. It's not the kind of comedy you'll laugh your ass off, but it's one that'll keep a smile on your face through out. Kind of like a 60's Disney family movie. Clear characters and a hero that's clueless and stumbles to success....
