A British Edgar Wallace mystery of the 'Old Dark House' category. A crime gang had been arrested 10 years earlier, all except the leader. But now released, the culprits and the police are interested in finding the gold. They all end up in a big scary house where strange things happens. Best bit was Alastair Sim as one of the crooks. This also have the lovely Linden Travers. The movie is alright for this kind of thing. A little cheesy of course, but has enough going on to make it work.
