The Thing About My Folks

I like Paul Reiser (and love Peter Falk). This film hit close to home for me. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

If you like Paul Reiser, you'll probably like this. I got sick of "Mad About You" when it was on TV real fast, and this is very much of that world, in the way that the characters interact, except this is almost never funny. All I can say is thank god it wasn't directed by a woman... I can only imagine how syrupy this would be if it had been.
