Gangster comedy with a fresh Ginger Rogers as a boxer's babe! Not that Robert Armstrong ever looked like a convincing champ. This is really a vehicle for Eddie Quillan's comic talents before producers gave up on making the babyface a leading man. He was a good presence here and at times looked like he had that star quality. The script is the main problem. Not that many funny moments, and not that dangerous either. But with Ginger there the movie had a certain spunk to make it more then passable.
