You have no reason to watch The Toxic Avenger Part III, unless you want to see all of the Toxic Avenger films for one reason or another. The fact of the matter is that it exists because the filmmakers didn't want footage they filmed to go to waste. The fact that you have to pay money to see it is probably another motivating factor. This is an incredibly boring movie that doesn't even try to bring with it the exploitation elements for which the series, and Troma as a whole, is known.

Lloyd Kaufman injects some genius in this otherwise bad sequel.

The prosthetics work is very good and Rick Collins has his moments as the OTT villain, and I guess as a whole it's a little less obnoxious than the torturous first two films, but it remains a really poor and really confusing continuation of the events of "Part II". The hysteria is still pretty much present, as are the tasteless, strained jokes, while the on-the-nose environmental and political messaging seems wholly out of place amidst this merciless maelstrom of lazy and downright bad ideas.

Tromalistic crap... Kinda cult, but still nearly unwatchable

People are dumb, don't listen to their horrible ratings, this one's still pretty good. The original Toxic Avenger Part II was 4 hours long so it got cut into two parts and this is the weaker half of them.

A big misfire from Kaufman that was made just to make a quick buck. Armed with more footage than required for 2, he hastily assembled the leftovers from the cutting room floor and called it a day. Consequently, there is no rhyme or reason to any of it, even by Troma's standards, and the pace is draggy, especially in the first half. It picks up somewhat in the final act with the appearance of the demon, but Kaufman seems rather uncertain of the tone he is going for, and the jokes aren't funny.

Poor Toxie, stuck in such a crappy movie.

Better than Part II, but not by much. This suffers from most of the problems that plague Part II (by virtue of them being filmed at the same time and as one movie): the fight scenes are mediocre and the plot is absurd even by Troma standards. Skip it unless you're a diehard fan of Toxie.

Poorly done, even for Troma. Got a couple of chuckles out of it, but this wasn't as fun to watch as the forst two installments were.

I'm not sure how to correctly add this film to the continuity of Toxic Avenger films. It seems to forget that Toxie already resolved his psychological issues, and the next moment it throws the reference to what happened in Part II. His girlfriend is really hot and kind of cool, I give that. But overall, it's another step down from the original movie. It's way too long and the laughs are very few.

Probably should've thrown this footage out inside of making a third film. This should be gross and wild not tame and boring. It's fucked that part 2 is better.
