Overly simplistic with it's war-time theme, but otherwise humble and harmless. Focusing mostly on bullied kid and his dog, along with his pa Barton MacLane struggling to keep a regular job as Nazi sympathizers takes advantage of him. Easy going family movie where everything falls short.
