The Unfolding

This appears to be mostly filmed using a cell phone & GoPro camera. The stupid ghost story provides nothing new or interesting & quickly becomes tiresome. They introduce the professor & it takes a turn for the worst. However it's when they bring in the stupid psychic that it basically becomes unwatchable. Except for a few scenes in the beginning of a cute couple including the pretty Lisa Kerr, this movie has no real redeeming qualities. Also, the final scenes are a jumbled mess & make no sense.

One of those films that leaves you wondering whether the effort and money that went into filming was worth it. (Spoiler: the answer is no, it was not worth it.)

Why?

Very generic "haunting" fare, perhaps especially rehashing last decade's Paranormal Activity. Filmed in the style of "someone within the story appears to be shooting all of this for no real reason" that's now mandatory for low-budget horror, and has a totally non-sequitur ending.
