Looks and feels like a Lifetime original movie. The big reveal scene sends the film from "bad" to "fucking stupid". An hour into the film, the farm girl learns that her mother was in a bisexual relationship and goes, "Oh, I guess that means I'm bisexual too." Like it's hereditary. She decides to try this out with the person she just learned is essentially her step-sister and also decides to force her to drink her blood out of absolutely nowhere.

The script isn't anything to write home about, but the great performances from Christen Orr and Hannah Fierman more than make up for it. My biggest complaint is that the sound mix is incredibly uneven, which makes certain lines impossible to hear. I had to watch with my finger on the volume button so I could drop it way down anytime music came on & then crank it up whenever people started talking. Beyond that, it's my favorite of Bret Wood's movies & definitely worth a watch.

In America, jealous rural Christian guys tend to confuse lesbians with witches. As you do. IcyBrian is right about the sound quality. Hannah Fierman is good. The Greatest American Hero wasn't bad either.
