The Vengeance of Fu Manchu

Having seen 3 other movies (4,1, & 2) this has the most attempts to improve & be more like Bond. First, there's an actual exotic locale & Asian monastery lair & even Nayland Smith seems much less uptight. There's more "sex" (or at least a man & a woman making out on top of a bed - fully clothed) & a younger better looking American agent. The problem is the slow pacing & ALL the plotholes! Why does Fu try to kill the crime ambassador he wants to meet w/? Why does the court try a catatonic man?
