The Virginity Hit

I enjoyed this. If it wasn't shot the way it was shot I probably would have enjoyed it less so, but it was pretty funny at times, and had some emotion to it as well. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive but when certain things are found out, it made me feel really bad. Some parts reeked of trying too hard, but ultimately the movie succeeds a hell of a lot more than it fails.

I enjoyed this more than I want to admit. An OK brainless time passer - yet another rite of passage of some good-for-nothing(s) to lose virginity. Even at its best times, it doesn't rise above mediocrity. Performances are ok barring the main character who gives a worse one-dimensional performance. The girls (sister, girl friend, researcher ..) do a relatively better job. There is not much skin - don't go in expecting. Camera shakes get irritating at times and gaps in logic makes u wonder wtf.

Maybe it's because I'm less than a decade removed from being one of these crude, childish teenagers, but I really enjoyed 'The Virginity Hit'. The desperate nature they have for anything regarding the opposite sex is all too familiar. It's all a 17 year-old really has to worry for, though focusing on school would be ideal. Sure, they rely on poo jokes once or twice, but that's exactly the kind of stuff I would have found hilarious, and still gives me a chuckle today. Guess you had to be there.

Pretty funny. Generic plot but the unique, naturalistic manner in which its presented gives it a charming vibe that will almost make you feel nostalgic for high school.

Top badass moment? Matt's friends collecting money so they can pay his favourite porn star, Sunny Leone (who's a real porn actress and plays herself in the film), to have sex with him. How sweet. True friends like that are hard to come by and are therefore badass. 0 cats and 0 decapitations.
