With war on, it's new times, new values. The War Against Mrs. Hadley (1942) takes on the vanity of the upper-class and showing people real values. For me the tone doesn't hit right for a super emotional effect or make it funny, but it does have something to say, and with a quality set of actors pretending the war doesn't affect them, you do have a nice little movie.
