The War with Grandpa

It came across as a bad rip-off of Home Alone with a tactless anti-war message thrown in at the end.

This is what you'd expect - slapstick comedy, corny/cheesy etc. but it did raise a fair few smiles and it gave me a few laughs, so its by no means bad. It contains elements of the Home Alone and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation films (re Vacation - where nudity is implied but NOT shown). Seeing DeNiro and Christopher Walken pissing about was a good laugh. Not brilliant, this should entertain most for a while, so I'd recommend it. By the end, I'd found it funnier than I'd somehow expected.
