The Wedding Video

I absolutely hated this! Im not sure why this has been labelled as a comedy because I failed to laugh once through the 90 minute run time which feels longer than a Michael Bay Movie! The stars of the movie looked like they had a lot of fun making it which does come across on screen but they are held down by a mediocre script. The story is predictable and the ending is pretty dreadful!

Wastes Webb entirely and Punch is given nothing funny to do despite her screen time. Only Harriet Walter has any little bit of personality. The protagonist is constantly obnoxious and yet the film doesn't seem to recognize that; we're supposed to find him winning. And then out-of-nowhere we're treated to scenes that are supposed to be romantic and sincere but feature characters with no connection leading to an entirely un-earned ending.

Better than it should be. A low-budget British comedy starring some genuinely talented B-listers; there's plenty of laughs to be had here, but the ending is a bit ridiculous.
