The Wild Geese

Pretty cool ensemble a la "The Expendables" before that movie came out. Acceptable story with a betrayal twist. I liked the time spent assembling the gang in the beginning and training them. A bit too much plot armor until the end, especially for favored characters. Fav scene: the plane attack on the bridge.

I appreciate producers for being responsible to make such a dull movie with a bunch of awesome actors!

Wow. I love the actors on display, just not necessarily in this movie. The action is decent to good, but the movie is hampered by lackluster pacing. Also, good lord why did they have to play that cringe-inducing song at each end of it?

Good all-star cast action film.

Like a British version of "The Dirty Dozen", but with some over-the-hill guys being both bad ass and dignified at the same time. Took too long to get to the real meat of the movie, and it hasn't aged as gracefully as Burton, Granger, or Moore did, but it passed the time without much unpleasantness.

I always loved this movie. Saw it a bunch of times in the 1980s. It holds up well. Great action with a fantastic ensemble cast. It also has heart and comedy. Well done!

Low budget Dirty Dozen with some campy moments and martial music score. Harris makes things seem worse by being quite good.

The action in this is pretty enjoyable, but everything else, including the acting by Richard Burton and Roger Moore, is mediocre at best
