The Wild World of Batwoman

Brazen ripoff of you-know-what, but the producers were never sued because they were obviously so impoverished. If you get on YouGoogleTube and check out a dozen or so of the trailers of seriously junky movies of the 60s (yes, many of them are up there), you will be acquainted, if you're not already, with all the cliches of grade-Z filmmaking... and this movie embodies them all. As icing on the dungheap, Katherine Victor designed her own costume, yet she still looks awful

OK, so Hef got really really high one day and came up with this production (or no, wait...nobody's ever been that high). MST: "It's like they threw a bunch of movies in a blender and pressed MIX!" Batwoman resembles a white Grace Jones whose hair just exploded. Then there's Mr Wizard and his assistant (who manages to out-Torgo Torgo). Especially ridiculous was the seance scene. Oh yeah, and then there's that godawful band. All of which just goes to show that comedy can be very dangerous indeed.

This is a movie that illustrates how hard it is to write camp well, and how utterly, absolutely *painful* it can be when done badly.

Wooden acting, bad story, horrible settings and costumes. This is the kind of movie you will remember for a long time, but not in a good way.

This film has a plot that makes no sense, horrible dialogue and well dancing. But if pointless dancing is not enough for you to enjoy a movie than you should skip this one.
