There is absolutely no reason why you (or your children) should see this movie when there is Finding Nemo and Incredibles.

What an atrocious excuse for an animated film (and a direct rip-off of the much better "Madagascar").

This movie just seems like no one put any thought into it, instead slapping something together in 20 minutes and shrugging off every plot hole and fuck-up, counting on the fact that its target audience wouldn't notice and would love it anyway. Thumbs down.

it isn't a bad film, but it is very redundant, forgettable, and ultimately, irrelevant. Despite its severely derivative leanings, yes, young kids may still enjoy it, but it is a far cry from being the universal crowd-pleaser that Finding Nemo was.

I wasn't wild about this film. The animation tried to go a little more realistic than most Disney films, but it fell a little short. I did like a lot of the characters especially the Squirrel and Giraffe. There needed to be even more Kiefer Sutherland because his voice is awesome, plus William Shatner had a fun bad guys voice. I do have to question the idea of making such lame animals the antagonists of the film...

The Wild is another poor 3D animated Disney film. Other than the Pixar films, Disney haven't made a decent animated film since they dropped 2D animation. And this seems more about how many big names they can cram on a poster than actually making an enjoyable children's film. There isn't a child in the world that could care less if Eddie Izzard is a Koala. I honestly thought this was another run of the mill Dreamworks animation, but I was surprised Disney was behind this forgettable mess.

Sick of DreamWorks poaching ideas from Pixar, Disney did a little thievery of their own in this '06 animated dud that mirrors Madagascar a little too closely. Pixar would never make a movie like this, but barring Bolt, the bulk of Disney's own CGI efforts have been lacklustre if not terrible. The film has a lot of stupid humour that I suppose kids might be amused by, but offers little to the older crowd. It's forgettable in every way, and a far cry from the Disney of my childhood.

I saw the danish dub. Even though it is far from the level of Madagascar, it does have its very wack, but funny moments.

One of Disney's worst movies, even counting those direct to DVD sequels. The Wild is a weird rip-off of Madagascar, but taking out all the charm and stupid humor from the series and instead just inserting stupid. The villain is really dark and creepy for a kids movie. The CGI is a joke, and their are no jokes only attempts at humor that feel pathetic.

A hugely underrated animated movie. Eddie Izzard as a koala bear, carnivores and dancing and Wilderbeasts and a master curling lion. What's not to love?

Good funny film with a few flaws. The stylistic desicions were off a few times. The film works best when it's being crazy and surreal, but there are moments of realism that seem out of place. Should stick with the former and drop the realism. And the snake just wasn't funny. that character should have been reworked. The comic relief was there in the form of Eddie Izzard as the Koala, and some of the peripheral characters. Thankfully the snake is kept to a minimum though

What happened to Disney? They once released classics, and turned animation into beauty and art. Now they just suck! They have proved it with this horrid joke for a family/kids movie known as The Wild. Terrible CGI, and even steals some scenes and features from other films! Pixar owns Disney to this day, as Pixar comes up with fresh, brilliant and well-executed films that quickly become classics! Just quit Disney!

In a year where Disney has released some of their least popular features in recent years, it's good remind yourself just how fucking bad they are capable of being. This is a real steaming pile of shit.
