It was fun enough. I couldn't help but feel pity for all the unfortunate '80s hairstyles. Kelly LeBrock was smoking hot (except for the hair). The plot was more like a series of gags. Nice songs by Stevie Wonder. Gilda Radner looked like she was having fun. Fav scene: Gene Wilder in Robert Redford hair.

Wilder really lost the plot in the 80's, and his insistence on directing was seriously misguided; it didn't help that he had a knack for consistently picking lousy projects either. As an actor, he was truly one-of-a-kind, but behind the camera he had no clue about pacing and staging, which inevitably resulted in sluggish rhythms wholly unsuited to comedy. TWIR is not funny, and it simply wastes the talent of all involved, including LeBrock.

Wilder's a really hit and miss kind of guy, anything he was in that Brooks even touched was awesome, but then the 80's came along and dealt a death blow, it's really more sad than anything else.
