Most of the Terrence Hill westerns have a light hearted, comedic flavor to them. It scratches a different itch than The Man With No Name, Django, Sabata, or Sartana. So long as you come without expectations of a Leone masterpiece with little humor and to end the movie with a face full of spaghetti, then it's a good time. Besides, who could say no to Hill's blue eyes when he wears that subdued smile.

A bit lackadaisical in its pacing, but it has plenty of fun and funny moments to make it worthwhile.

Terence Hill and Bud Spencer are iconic figures and "They Call Me Trinity..." is exactly that type of memorable blend of Western cinema and comedy that made them famous. The story doesn't amount to much but the dialogue can be fun, the main attraction being of course the comic fist fights. The theme song is also great and, although the film walks the fine line between spoof and caricature rather shakily, it's an enjoyable diversion overall.

Wins mostly on the fact that the charisma and chemistry of its lead characters and having solid fight scenes. It's pretty bare in terms of narrative weight and cinematography but it's paced well enough and has enough going on that it isn't a bore. Probably one of the few movies that portrays Mormons in a positive light, but I can't help but laugh at how they make Mormon women seem promiscuous and flirty.

Pretty woeful fake western with fuedin' on the surface but ultra-close in the clinches kin theme. All the tropes are there - the wicked landowner and his gang of goons, the peaceable wanna be settlers, the caricature Mexicans... too contrived for this viewer but the start of a very successful series of movies. Well set but that's about all. Yeah, it's a spaghetti western but that's not the problem here.

a truly "unholy trinity"....nonsensical, tedious and insignificant.

I see the chemistry between the Hill and Spencer, and, although dated, the film's goofiness does hold a certain charm.

I see it often dismissed as just a silly childish comedy, but comeon... Sure it's no Sergio Leone, but it is sweaty and dirty spagetti western with a decent story and yes, there is a lot of slapstick and humor and very little if any heavy violence, but it works just fine the way it is. The secret is great chemistry between Hill & Spencer. Ok, it's no secret really, because they made countless movies together. Fun, relaxed adventure movie.

I haven't seen *ALL* of them, but I'll go out on a limb and say that this is *probably* the very best of an awful many Hill & Spencer collaborations.
