Forgive me, but I actually thought this was pretty good. I really just watched it for Kevin Hart, and the movie is definitely not aimed for my demographic, but I found a lot of it entertaining. However, it's quite cliche in almost every turn, and that does bog it down. The chemistry is pretty solid, and you do get a sense of camaraderie between the guys and the girls have their own character ticks too. It's not something that needs to be remembered, but you can have some fun with it.

It's a romantic comedy, so you know where it all leads, and that's fine by me. Where it fails to really distinguish itself is in letting us get to know the characters, probably a consequence of having to spread itself out among four stories. This is another of those films where you wish the cast just had stronger material. It doesn't suck, but it only succeeds because its goals are so shallow and simplified.

I thought I wouldn't like this movie. But I did. Well, somewhat. It's a movie that is entertaining, but I don't feel the need to see it again. For this genre, and this cast, I give it a respectable 49/100.

Kindergarten level drama with indulgent, naiive, selfish, petty, uninteresting and whiny assemble cast of adult toddlers. Managed to sit through because Hart brings his usual pitbull energy to every scene he was in and Ealy is very easy on the eyes.

Actually very funny, with references to Art of War... loved it!

There were a few pretty girls and funny moments, but there are also stupid gags and some boring and annoying parts too. I wanted to like this, but the pace of nonstop stupidity began to get on my nerves. Kevin Hart was exhausting with his trademark stupid blabbermouth nonsense. Many of the other roles were OK to average. Scenes were nice, but the story was somewhat pointless. As a comedy is barely stands on its own. As a love story it was weak. As a story about bonding it mostly fails.

What you get from this movie is 'pretty'. Nothing more. Some eye candy.

For some reason, I've really wanted to see this film ever since it came out Stateside. (I'm a sucker for emsemble comedy-dramas, sue me.) A limited, unsuccessful theatrical run in the UK followed, so 12 months of waiting for the DVD to drop in price later, I picked up the disc - £6 on Amazon. "Finally", I thought. "Hope it's worth the wait!" It wasn't, really, but it was basically a decent movie. If you don't like the genre, well, the above anecdote will probably entertain you more fulfillingly.
