This Is Love

I do think that the immense writing talent shown by Matthias Glasner in 2006's The Free Will, is still apparent here. He again tackles a taboo, explosively controversial idea of a human relationship with valiant sincerity, and individual scenes are often potent. Woefully, This Is Love is rife with dramatic exaggerations that stifle its potential. It's too heavy, too often. Before long, every scene is a tragedic fortissimo, strewn into a series of perpetual crises with no relief.
