This Is My Desire

Slow and methodical slice-of-life for two loosely connected Nigerians trying to partake in the Western dream of self-actualizing immigration. There are many quiet moments, few strong emotions, and little exposition, so the story may be difficult for some to engage with, but if one can get past the pacing, there's a lot of beautiful cinematography, some subtle and generative social commentary, and hard lessons about the subjectivity of the developing world.
