Oh, those crazy party people. No decency in the world! All drinking and playing around. That's the life of Pauline Frederick who suddenly is reminded that she has a 19 year old daughter. Something she's almost forgotten about! And enter Joan Crawford.... doing the type of role she made a career of doing in the silent era. A flapper, happy-go-lucky babe with no worries except what to drink next. Lively as a party flick, but hardly anything remarkable, and a fairly ordinary plot for the period.
