This is actually a pretty innovative early short. It makes the connection between the unexpected and humor, and realizes that special effects naturally support that goal. It remains relateable even today.

What's not to like about this? It's absurdist humor from the turn of the century. That bucket was hilarious and completely unexpected. I felt like I was high.

If it were any sillier, it would resemble one of Terry Gilliam's stop-motion cartoons from the Monty Python era, and therefore be good for a chuckle. Unfortunately, it's not quite that silly.
