A British farce, but for a while it felt more like an excuse to show UK music hall/vaudeville acts on the movie screen even instructing the movie audience to sing along. The main story comes better together after the entertainment as it's about a bunch of upper-class people slumming down in the music halls and getting into trouble. Gets sort of amusing, but it was never truly as witty as they tried to be.
