The language barrier was more awkward than it needed to be. The American/Italian atmosphere didn't mash very well either. But it's Lloyd Bridges walking around Italy, getting into trouble, and crossing paths with some big Italian movie stars in a fairly gritty film. There is something there. You just got to adjust to it a little.
