"Howdy" Nelson believes there is no such think as real love and that romance can be cooked up between any eligible persons (of the opposite sex.) He is so imbued with the idea that he has established a summer camp for that reason, and has written a play on the subject. The Yacht Club Boys visit the camp, misrepresenting themselves as Broadway producers, and the talented guest of the camp put on Nelson's play...which all ends up with a lot of marriage mating.

The title was misleading. It wasn't. B-musical comedy with a lot of lesser talent, and if some of them are big names, it's only because their rise to fame came later. Dorothy Lamour shows up for a song, which was pretty much the highlight of this thing. The Yacht Club Boys came off as a 3rd rate Ritz Brothers rip-off. Judy Canova & Ben Blue had some little moments, but it was more noise than laughs. A mess overall, which was often the case for these kinds of films, with bits and pieces to love.
