A true hidden gem, it's hard to tell it's a $50k film. Excellent performances across the board enliven a diverse cast of scummy, bumbling, but highly sympathetic characters. The script is fresh and original, and while tongue-in-cheek, is much more down-to-earth and believable than most caper comedies, which to me really boosts the tension and amusement factors. Prudent storyboard, photography and editing provide a good flow and rhythm.
