'Til We Meet Again (1940) is One Way Passage (1932) slowed down. Lacks the snappiness of the original for it takes a different approach as a pure romantic composition taking full advantage of it's main assets. The incredible beauty of Merle Oberon and the gentle nature of George Brent! And as a romantic piece is works strikingly, but I do prefer the tone of the first version with William Powell & Kay Francis! Should also be noted that Frank McHugh reprises his role of the drunken pal.
