Till the Clouds Roll By

Not a great movie, although I think I watched it through two or three times in as many days during a period when I was really into Jerome Kern's music.

This is a charming show. The acting is a bit cheesy at times, but it is fun enough to watch.

Better-than-average biopic with better-than-average tunes and stars.

Shines during the star-studded musical numbers, but a bit of bore during the dramatic sections. Thankfully it's a biopic of a songwriter so half the film are specialty arranged cameos of anybody who was anybody in Hollywood at the time.
