Time Chasers

Far better than the average MST3K movie. The filmmakers clearly had greater ambitions than their gossamer budget would allow, and the movie has a lot of heart. That said, it's still not very good.

I really think if this hadn't been on such a shoestring budget it would have been a lot better. All of the actors are fairly decent and the concept, while obviously silly, isn't that bad. Probably the best bad movie to be featured on MST3k. But I know I'm in the minority in that thinking.

Warning: Once you start watching, you WILL be unable to stop. You will be fascinated by the biggest and pointiest chin in the world and will not be able to get your eyes off of it. You are warned. End of message.

This is what happens when all your shooting locations, props and actors come from Vermont.

Way too ambitious for its budget, writing, acting and directing. Perfect MST3K movie. The moon-faced Vermontonian is perhaps the most miscast hero in the history of film.

You know what? This movie jumps into "Decent" just because of how hard they were trying and how much they were thinking.

I once read on a discussion board that this movie would have been good if it had a better script and better acting and that they should remake this movie with a better budget. Well, sir, they did make that movie...it was Back To The Future. CASTLETON SNOBS!

The ambition of the filmmakers vastly outpaces what they were able to bring to the table. With better writing, actors, and a larger budget, it could have even been decent. Still, it's boring to a fault.

This movie has some goofy charm, and yet its not a good film. The MST3K crew episode for this is classic. "I refuse to accept this man as our hero."

This is so ridiculous it’s brilliant.

LOL. This movie sucked, but thanks to MST3K, what would have otherwise outraged me instead made me laugh. Multiply the score above by 5 for the MST3K version.

Incredibly hilarious

While this is so absurd at points to be amusing (see the cabbie and the trip to colonial America), there's a baseline competency that prevents this from being all that memorable of a cheesy movie.
