An odd burst of creativity. There's a lot of great imagery and the drum beat works really well.

Well-edited, enjoyable short. I think it made an interesting comment on the constant tempo changes of everyday life.

Pleasantly weird. I never thought I'd see a Jim Henson movie that featured an ecdysiast

Before the Muppets, Jim Henson created this bizarre little short, taking the monotony of ordinary life and turning it into a collage of countless sight gags and surreal comparisons, anything from Henson painting a real elephant pink to a segment with a stripper which makes jokes about the male libido, all set to an intricate score of sound and music. It's an immense joy and anyone with an interest in this sort of thing should see it. For Henson fans they need to see this.

While in no way to be taken seriously, it's a mad series of mood, movement progression.

Frantic sensory overload from Jim Henson, laced with his wonderful humor and some real directoral vision.

Slightly advanced and structuralist informed montage has some interest but the subject is whimsical by contrast. The combination comes off sophomoric.

Fast-paced sillyness that nicely combines sounds with wacky images.

reasonably amusing rhythmation(?) of life's rituals and absurdities. also a wee bit annoying.

I like the radical take on the montage, the drama created by fast-changing, sharply differing images. The substance, though, I found silly in a shallow sort of way.
