Fun and talented animal fairy Fawn believes you can't judge a book by its cover, or an animal by its fangs, so she befriends a huge and mysterious creature known as the NeverBeast. While Tinkerbell and her friends aren't so sure about this scary addition to Pixie Hollow, the elite Scout Fairies set out to capture the monster before he destroys their home. Fawn must trust her heart and take a leap of faith if she hopes to rally the girls to save the NeverBeast. (DisneyToon Studios)

The NeverBeast is kind of repulsive and the whole story almost derived of any fun. Choose 'The Pirate Fairy' instead.

Enjoyable film has modest aims and is pitched squarely at prepubescents, but with these caveats noted, it is still a fun (chaste) spin on BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; its underlying themes of friendship and 'never judging a book by its cover' might be as corny as all get out, but a boisterous voice cast and pleasantly colourful animation help sell it. Final farewell finale is surprisingly touching.

Nothing special. Fairies need to dress warmer. Maybe someone should write down warnings instead of requiring future generations to misinterpret illustrated prophecies. Fav scene: bunnies hopping away.

I'm always annoyed more than I should be when a spin-off has a title that doesn't make sense except from a marketing perspective, like how Tinker Bell is just a side character here. Anyway, it's decent but not fun enough to sustain its full run time. Some good voice performances elevate it slightly above a standard straight-to-video release.

The last and one of the two best of the series (even with the Stockholm syndrome I’ve developed by having a daughter at an impressionable age, that is not saying much), due to the CGI having come a long way and the story making sense and being kind of entertaining in it‘s way.

"I could count the tears, and the long long nights, but I'd rather just remember how you smile." A fitting send-off to a beloved series.
