I'd rather have watched 90 minutes of Kate Beckinsdale doing midget porn. Which would also have been a more affirmative movie about little people than this poorly-contrived mess. Look at the horrendous Photoshopping on that poster over there. That's still 10x better than the movie it's promoting.

I have described this film to multiple people who refused to believe it exists.

A story about a guy who harbours a secret deep seated hatred towards dwarfs even though his parents and brother are dwarves themselves. It culminates in him having a breakdown when he learns his unborn son has it to. Interesting premise for a film but it simultaneously rams "LOOK AT THE DWARVES LOL" and "DWARVES ARE PEOPLE TOO, BE MORE TOLERANT YOU FUCKING MONSTER" down your throat at the same time. In the end, the dwarfism is a gimmick and they could have used any hereditary genetic abnormality

Gary Oldman in the performance of a life time, as a midget with CGI legs. Also, Peter Dinklage as a French, Marxist dwarf. There's also way more sex between little people and regular sized people than in any other movie ever made, probably. Also, a dwarf slut knocks a Lebanese security guard out with a boom box.

After seeing Tiptoes, you begin to wonder how the actors involved chose to get involved with the project. Surely they weren't that starved for money or attention. Given the promotion (or the lack thereof), I don't think that they got either from this movie. A challenge is just about the only thing that I can think of as to why they would take part in something like this. It's dull, makes little sense, and gives the audience nothing to think about or take from it.

The worst and best thing about this movie is that it exists.

This movie is a trainwreck of tremendous proportions. It's not so bad it's good, it's not a drinking movie really but this is a film to see so you can watch and boggle yourself how anyone thought this was a good idea. Gary Oldman is in this shit. The entire film is played 100% straight, it is not a comedy on purpose but when Beckinsale says "What was that you had a circle jerk with a bunch of little people? I would've loved to see that!" with a straight face this goes into bad movie high gear.

A fascinatingly bad family drama with a "little people" gimmick that is more famous for the shocking number of big names involved than actually just how bad it really is.That said, it is surprisingly bad, and Gary Oldman acting on his knees playing Mathew McConaughey's twin dwarf brother really needs to be seen to be believed.

As a movie, hey, it's better twin bros movie than Schwarzenegger with De Vito. Seriously the story sucks, really, but at least Beckinsale's wardrobe was nice and Arquette in tiny winy skirt and popping out boobs, grrr. Dinklage was the only *real* dwarf who could act. How's about the bad legged, humping twin brother? That was not actually a dwarf; he's Gary Oldman! Excellent role.

How did this wind up getting made?! And that anyone agreed to be in it - how desperate was everyone? What's with this cast? I guess Dinklage was down with it, for one reason or another, or maybe he just needed work, but the way everyone just thoughtlessly broadcasts alarm & revulsion over human differences - are we supposed to hate all the normie chars for being wretched? Or laugh at their discomfiture? You never get the feeling that they're deliberately written as creeps. The film doesn't wink.

Oh wow, this is... amazing? Horrible? Boring? Kind of fun but in the wrong way? Everything at once but at the same time nothing? I can only say for sure that the movie doesn't know what to do with itself and you should give it a try if you have the chance.

I give this film a low rating for obvious reasons. There's no need to really explain why this film is bad and I'd be wasting my breath if I did so. However, I feel this is still a film people should see, if only for comedic value. Watch it with a large group of friends and prepare to laugh your ass off for about 2 hours. If seeing Gary Oldman's crudely photoshopped dwarf body hobble around isn't funny to you, then nothing is. It's a shame MSTK3 isn't still around for this.

I love Gary Oldman. He's a fantastic actor. BUT FOR CHRISTSAKE why make him play a little person when you simultaneously had the option to hire actual little people.. That being said, I actually quite enjoyed the slowly unfolding romance and the intrestingly portrayed and destructive self-hatred of McConaughey. Yeah, this movie is inane, but I wouldn't say malicious.
