Tiramisu

It's a shame that, like so many Dutch films, this excellent tragicomedy has had such poor distribution and exposure. It is definitely worth seeing. Full of standout performances while Anneke Blok owns the film. It looks great and shows Amsterdam as smart, sassy and cosmopolitan while the theatre community is vibrant, generous and alluring. This glitz is contrasted with the hard reality of financial difficulty and the acting profession. It's in my top 5 Dutch films; would work as a remake too.
