This kind of picture of endemic poverty probably isn't as impacting now as it would have been 50 years ago, but it's very well made. The focus on the children along with undertones highlighting the disparity in wealth and opportunity are highlights.

"Throw 10 (cents)" is what "tire diez" means. It is what the children at the sides of the railway tracks shout to the passengers of the train who are coming and going from and to wealthier places.
