Quite fascinating and unusual movie. See Bernard Stiegler, "Tiresias and the War on Time: On a Film by Bertrand Bonello," Symbolic Misery, Volume 1: The Hyperindustrial Epoch, ch. 4. See also: https://www.academia.edu/12693849/Totally_Tenderly_Tragically_BS_and_BB_2017_ Finally: in 1968, the Italian philosopher Mario Perniola published his only novel, Tiresia, about a transsexual, never translated into English or French. Surely not a coincidence: note the film's Italian co-writer.
