To Your Last Death

I haven't watched a lot of cartoon horror and outside of anime, there are not a lot of these kind of movies out there. The animation style is interesting and feels fitting for the genre. The voice acting is decent here, but as far as the whole horror-thing goes, it's not especially scary and it does start repeating itself after a while. I still enjoyed it, even if it could have been way shorter.

This was interesting. The art style is what immediately grabbed my attention, but sadly it wound up being a bit more of a distraction than anything even as the movie went on. The premise has a lot of potential, but the execution left a lot to be desired. None of the characters are especially likeable, & the heroine gets treated so badly by the script it gets a little hard to root for her. It's engaging enough, but I was hoping for a lot more. Oh, and that final line after the credits...cringe.
