I was really enjoying this right up until the very abrupt ending. I guess the end was a kind like a metaphor for Anna and Matt's relationship sudden termination with him going off with his baby and her moving on with her life, but I'm just guessing really. In any event, I'd felt more satisfied with something other than the jolt of the credits running as soon as the baby was born, almost as though the film makers had grown bored with their project and decided to call it quits.

A movie that spends a lot of time getting to the place where the story can begin only to end abruptly. It was sometimes sweet, slightly humorous, but an often aimless exploration of an age mismatched couple having a surrogate child. It was moderately entertaining, but entirely forgettable. I don't remember laughing at all, but it has a few snicker moments. Also, you want to root for the relationship that never materializes.

Sweet, funny, and awkward (in a good way), but not overly memorable. The ending was abrupt, but I understand the thought.

This is corny and cliched but yet surprisingly sweet. At first the main story didn't really interest me but the way the plot develops left me interested enough to see what happened. It came across as more of a long TV show type of a watch, rather than a big Hollywood type film but that's not always a bad thing. This isn't an exciting, mindblowing type film but its got some nice moments and its worth a watch if it sounds of interest to you I guess. There's a poignancy to it but its a bit clunky.

I feel like more could have been explored inbetween half-baked jokes and underdeveloped charecterisation. It does at least resist cliche in the end and follow through on its platonic philosophy.

Indie movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. Pretty humorous and touching but nothing amazing

It's awkward, really awkward; when you think it couldn't get more awkward, it does. When it tries to become "sweet", it just gets even more awkward. I actually had to pause it several times to be able to watch it all the way through. My rating is not lower because I liked the high concept, and if there's someone who can make awkwardness somewhat bearable, that's Helms.

Sweet story. I like watching things like this. Felt like I was binge watching tv series on Amazon Prime

It's so awkward but also very sweet. Ed Helms should appear in more independent dramas.
