This is the best Bond movie I have ever seen. A lot of action scenes in this and mostly action in this movie. The girls in this movie are Terri hatcher & a Chinese Woman. Hatcher is killed in this movie pretty early on. So it's Bond and the Chinese Woman fighting enemies. Car Scene, Airplane, Motorcycle, Boat and Chinese Woman beating up a whole bunch of Chinese Men. Basically stopping a Global media who's manipulating a war between China & the UK. A lot better than his 1st movie GoldenEye.

Rewatched. I liked Yeoh, but TND is still one of the worst in the series. The plot's dumb and most of the action is just numbingly loud without being fun or thrilling. Even the initially clever chase in Saigon is so destructive, I started feeling bad for the locals. And did someone tell Schiavelli this was an Austin Powers movie? Talk about a failure in tone. Still - better than TWINE.

Yeoh's the first female spy who genuinely holds her own against Bond, but her solo action sequence is less impressive than her prior work so that she doesn't outshine him. Most of the fight scenes in fact still haven't reached Matrix/Bourne levels. Fortunately this film's edited much more tightly than most Bonds w/ less exposition than usual. It never drags, but it makes the cliched climax feel extra weightless. There are some great scenes w/ a remote car; a motorcycle & a fall down a banner.
