This film is ridiculous, in the best possible way. It's a "so bad it's good" movie that is completely aware of that fact. A send up of every classic martial arts film there ever was (and a number of other genres of entertainment) it features Jermaine Clement (of Flight of the Concords) before anyone really knew who he was. This has a special place in my heart, as a classic gem of cinema. New Zealand knows how to make a quirky comedy that gets me. (See: Eagle vs Shark)
