I don't know how this will land for those who didn't grow up watching '80s TV, but for those of us who did, this is gold. A work of perverted genius.

So spot-on in its parody, so deliciously twisted and unpredictable and dark, there was no way that I would not absolutely love every moment of this. ...That said, it's very likely that there is something seriously wrong with my brain.

I was awakened early in the morning to a repetitive theme song and thought I was going insane. I rewound the Tivo and it turns out, I was.

This is the current front-runner for Best Picture 2014, and that's not likely to change.

As hilarious as you've heard from the people who won't shut the fuck up about it.

A prime example of hammering a joke so hard into the ground that it becomes funnier and funnier.

Who knew that psychotic murder of sitcom stars could be so amusing?

I'd say that the best thing about this - by far - is the opening credits. And this holy broth (11 min. long, available on Youtube) is most definitely not spoiled by the many cooks involved.

Too Many Cooks may be the best satire of our time. I say this with complete sincerity. It isn't just a fantastic parody of sitcoms, which it absolutely is, it takes the premise so far that it ends up being a satire of other satires of sitcoms. You can't ever make fun of sitcom intros ever again. This has, in effect, killed that joke forever by being so good.

Somebody did it. Some true genius of satire was a daring and creative enough storyteller to pull off something so self-contained and perfect within its own surreal, TV-land logic. Leave it to the folks at Adult Swim, the one true cult niche left on television, it would seem.

Just the best.

As fun as it is tiring to watch. This parody goes into all sorts of unexpected areas, making any further parodies of '80s TV show openings redundant.

Just as soon as one joke starts to wear thin, it develops into something new. Really creative, and I love how this was initially shown. Good stuff

An absurdly funny glorified credits sequence.

It's interesting. Not necessarily great or anything, but interesting. Worth a watch or two. Three might be pushing it.

I don't give a shit about any other short film (OTHER THAN CRUISING ELECTRIC) , it can be about starving who gives a shits a bloo hoo hoo or diamond smugglers or grandma's seeing the ocean for the first time this is the winner of the Best Short Film Oscar right here you apes.

Not terribly interesting. "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" is superior on all levels.

It's terribly witty in its parodying of various genres of television, but be warned: its theme song will be lodged in your mind for the longest time after viewing.
