Too Many Husbands

The three leads are really fun to watch and it's a fun premise, though it all comes off a bit slight.

Basically the same idea as in My Favorite Wife (1940). Here Fred MacMurray turns up and finds his wife Jean Arthur remarried to Melvyn Douglas! The rest is who will she choose with the two grown men acting like little school boys trying to win the affections of Arthur. And she loves it, wanting to keep both! A surprising naughty angle. So with it trying a little too hard to be funny, that aspect gives it a fascinating appeal to brush over the tiredness of the screwball formula.
