Too Scared to Scream

I don't think I "get" it. Typical slasher, multiple women (some stripping/showering first) who get stabbed to death in the same unimaginative fashion. Men and old women get killed too, but since they don't do nudity they get killed offscreen. Loud theme song: I'LL BE THERRREEEE. I guess it had a nice twist since I didn't even recognize the killer. Acting is kind of wooden. What a time to be naming movies (The Doorman!), when you just throw darts at various occupations. Fav scene: maid fakeouts.

This isn't too bad, but it's not too great either. What makes it worth seeing is the alright script that manages to throw a few laughs in the mix & create a decent mystery element regarding the killer, the performances by Ian McShane (the clear standout), Mike Connors & Anne Archer, & the opening scene- which I truly feel was brilliantly done, & not just because of the near-immediate nudity. Which there is plenty of by the way, if that's your jam. Sadly, the ending's a clunker. Still, decent.

I’m not going to try and pretend this is a great movie 
Because for me it’s not that great 
The acting is way too over the top and I don’t enjoy cutaways especially during a kill scene 
But it is interesting
It has Giallo film elements 
There’s a muder mystery theme
A detective and even a red herring in this story and I know 
I tend to say this a lot
But I never saw the twist ending coming 
I doubt anyone would 
It’s very taboo considering when the movie was filmed
