Top Hat

An often very funny screwball/farcical comedy that's interspersed with some very fine singing and dancing. As a viewer, there were indeed moments when I was in Heaven.

Extremely well-written. The film carries some good jokes, fun songs and dance numbers. All that supported by a good cast.

The dance routines are sheer magic. Plot was just a framework for Astair and Rogers to link the dancing together. Very watchable.

As a child I wanted to be a tap dancer because of Fred and Ginger. I grew up to slam dancing instead but now, as a mature (sure... watching Jess Franco movies...) person, I can't say anything else than this is irresistible.
