A lot closer in tone to the TV series than the first film, which tried to pander to a wider audience with film formula and convention. This film flies in the face of all that, is loaded with great character moments and offers several BoBandy-size belly-laughs. While this isn't the end I'd wished for the boys, I also highly doubt that this is the end. They'll keep making movies and I'll keep seeing them -- especially if the theatre experience is as wild as this one. Never been in a crowd like it.

Yeah I'm on with TheRealJ-Ro about this. There are some gratifying moments and they're still the same characters you know and love but Bubbles, guys and girls, is not THAT funny. He's funny (they all are) but he's not lead material. The movie's funny, it has some genuinely touching moments but it does suffer from not being as, er, raw as most of the rest of Trailer Park Boys. The ending was a cop out and this movie was not the classic (for NSers, y'know) that it should have been.

I love the material, and at the same time hate how far Clatts has departed from the cinematography that built the series. Flick suffered from the same formula of season 7; it focused too much on Bubbles rather than him being the side-kick character, where he's best. With no single scheme throughout, the movie feels too chaotic. There were two ways to properly end the tale: they go to jail forever or they make it big; neither happens, which is very disappointing to the series' hardcore fanbase.

I never watched the show but this was a nice surprise.

Keeps the feeling of the show really well and the humour never feels like its sagging, but I gotta say you might be better to just watch 4 episodes of the show.

this definitely felt like it stayed true to the show a lot more than the first one. classic trailer park boys.

A really slow start that kind of just keeps slow after it picks up the pace. The humor is spot on, yet the laughable jokes are so few that the documentary aspect threatens to take over. There are some great minor aspects that just cracked me up, yet they were so menial, and the parts that were actually intended to be funny turned out more often humorlessly entertaining more than anything else.

Even if it's a lot closer to the tone of the show than the first movie, that doesn't make it any better. Pretty chaotic and gets a little too real and serious at times, especially with Lahey's alcoholism, but occasionally a joke will land and make it all worth it.

Tackles themes way too serious for the Boys.

Not as good as the first movie, and that's saying something. I didn't like when they interacted with the camera men, it ruined the natural flow that the other movie had. Lahey was so drunk in this that it just became annoying, and another annoying thing is no one seems to care when they destroy their lives. The ending was unrealistic, the police were way to overly aggressive, especially for Canada. Also cats for inmates was lame.

Better than the other Trailer Park Boys movie, in my opinion. Again, I must say that I'm not well versed in the show but thankfully you don't have to be in order to jump into this film. No, it's not high brow comedy but it's hilarious and unlike anything else I've seen.

Makes zero sense, but there are a few laugh-out-loud parts.

This movie is not as good as the first one but there are still a lot of laughs. The ending is a little bit of a let down but the rest of the movie is fun. If you enjoy other Trailer Park boys stuff you should also check this movie out.

Unlike the previous Trailer Park Boys movie, this one has been written for fans of the show, instead of for people who have never seen it, and is much better for it.

Like a weak 4-episode arc, which is still pretty good for normal standards.
