Transatlantic (1931) won Oscar for Best Art Direction, and that part is good. Not that there was anything super special about it. Very watchable with a delightful cast as Edmund Lowe seems to know every woman on board. One of them banker's wife Myrna Loy, with arrogant husband John Halliday becoming a prominent part of the film. Oslo girl Greta Nissen gets a vixen role and convinces with her performance. Jean Hersholt was of course good. A perfectly alright rare Oscar winner.
