Trapped by the Mormons

Anti-Mormons films was a genre in itself in silent cinema. Not so much their religion directly, but how outsiders speculated on their wife collecting. Always the worst possible way. White slavery! These type of films were usually standard pot boilers, and didn't really have much artistic credentials. Same can be said about Trapped by the Mormons (1922), though it builds up to a solid fist fight climax. Evelyn Brent was a constant presence, but will not go down as among her best performances.
