Interesting premise, but the moment they added the "generic strong single mother in need" character, the novelty vanished and was replaced by tired clichés

Glad to find another Bill Paxton movie I haven't seen before. He hardly ever missed. It also featured a young Mark Wahlberg. Good con artist drama.
