Bears the marks of a film made cheaply. No remotely recognizable/particularly talented stars aside from the two leads, takes places mostly in a few rooms, cheap, garish lighting (a bit reminiscent of Batman & Robin, actually), not many stunts...For Cage this is obviously one of the films he's made in an attempt to work off his debts. No idea what Kidman is doing here. (She doesn't seem to know either). Not exactly bad, just happy to be melodramatic and mediocre. Basically an inferior "Hostage."

I think this movie literally had 27 scenes where someone threw someone or other on the ground and then stated "This is over!" under the pretense that they would kill said person...and never does. This movie also further cements the fact that one should never use home security, the installers are full of robbers.

Imagine Bergman and Hitchcock got together to make a tight suspense thriller revolving around the gradual exposure of a dysfunctional upper-class family, inspired by a play by Ibsen. Can you see it? Good... This movie is nothing like that.

Schumacher incompetently directs another action movie with a series of ludicrous twists. Nothing is even remotely suspenseful or intense. I have no idea how Nicole Kidman ended up on this project.

It comes equipped with roughly four or five plot twists too many, but it's enjoyable for awhile. Cage, Kidman, and that girl who plays their daughter certainly give it their all and seem unaware that they're basically occupying a C-movie that should, by rights, have starred William Forsythe or somebody. It's silly, but it tries hard, and it'll keep your attention for a couple hours. Nowhere near as noir-y as it'd like to be, though.

This film is about as good as Nicolas Cage's face is photoshopped on the poster.

Not a bad film not much happens and the end doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it's decent.

It's preposterous beyond words, but it's a lot of fun and the tension is accomplished by the silly performances and ridiculous plot turns.

Schumacher's worst film -- and NIcole's worst too; and I would have to revise some Nicolas' campy works to say the same -- just couldn't be any good with the absurd heroes -- they are common people but they are somehow violent and brutal -- and the dumbest, most fucked up -- you know, that junkie stripper -- thieves ever.

This move is better then I was expecting it to be. It starts off great, there are a lot of good suspenseful moments in the first half of the movie. The final third of the movie has some weak moments, there are a few unnecessary plot details and scenes.

A crap film and the first time I feel let down by Cage. Wiki says he wanted to play the baddie, really should've let him.

I heard so many bad things that my expectations were incredibly low and therefor thought this was better than advertised. That's not to say it was good. The dialogue was pretty terrible and have the movie felt like moments that were rather lame attempts at misdirections.

Cage and Kidman phone-in for a pay-day in what must be one of the dullest, most derivative, plot-free bore-fests seen in years. Finding out this lost over $30m at the box office made me smile, as I genuinely believe I've just put more effort into commenting on this film than the makers did throughout Trespass' entire production.

Awful. Cage turns in a performance that's even worse than that of Gigandet (AKA The Worst Actor in the History of Film). As incompetent and lazily generic as mainstream movies get.

The movie wasn't that bad, it was just a bit predictable and boring, and watching it plod along, I kept waiting for it to be over so I could do something else.
It's great for a background movie while you do wordfeud/crosswords or something.

Sayısız mantık hataları içeren "Trespass", ilk dakikasından itibaren seyircinin algı seviyesine hakaret ederek işkence etmeye başlıyor. Joel Schumacher'in bugüne kadarki en kötü filmi.

It starts off promising and decent actually, but somewhere in the middle it starts going downhill. It just keeps getting more and more ridiculous towards the end, and the acting somehow deteriorates as well.

Certainly not as bad as everyone wants to believe it is...but unquestionably not very good. I think it's safe to say that once you've learned to hate Nic Cage, his supporting cast could consist of Jesus, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, Hachiko, and people would still despise every second of the movie. But I suppose that doesn't matter because Trespass is a generic thriller that I will have forgotten about tomorrow. It just wasn't that painful. Oh, and Nic needs to return that pair of glasses to the 70s.

Horrible but a lot of fun. Get a group of friends together and see who can predict what will happen, I guarantee no one will. If there's one thing I can say about this film it is that it's definitely unpredictable and does not go where you think it will go.

Tone-deaf dialogue and relentless scenery-chewing discredits the tension, while the plot unravels arrhythmically with the plausibility of a John Boehner budget agreement. As asinine movies go, it's not unenjoyable once you surrender to its wildly convoluted plot, scornful disdain for logic and gratuitous flashbacks. So if you're going to give Trespass a spin, take your critical thinking and shove it right up your ass.

It is hard to say Cage's choices serve the film as written, but harder still to say the film as written deserved to be served, and perhaps hardest of all to say it would have been any more enjoyable if it had been. It is possible that TRESPASS is not the only film about which this might be said.

Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be based on the reviews. That being said, this is pretty much at full speed suspense the entire run time so it never really is suspenseful at all.

Ben Mendelson seemingly works for everyone else, but even he cannot win against typical Schumacher schlock or the worst character/ actor combination ever, Cam Gigachad.

Ben Mendelsohn, despite wearing a mask for most of the film, is the only one who's having any fun here, and in that sentence I am definitely including the audience. If you want to make a twisty movie, please first come up with twists that are enjoyable, shocking and/or satisfying.
