Enjoyable time-loop thriller is a little too self satisfied, seeming to go to great pains to hold itself together and "play fair" (at least on a first viewing). Simple plotting means it soon becomes clear where we are headed, though thankfully the screenplay never tries to literalise or explain the phenomena. Well crafted on a technical level, with a genuinely eerie and unsettling first act; if you love time travel paradox convolutions, this is likely to emerge as an endearing guilty pleasure.

Points for not being at all what I expected it to be, & for a really solid lead performance courtesy of Melissa George. To be perfectly honest, though, it sort of fell off in the last third for me & I found the ending to be downright silly compared to everything that came before it. While the clear effort that went into the script is super admirable, a few things just don't add up when you actually try to fit the pieces together, which was unfortunate. Still, neat mindfuck that passes the time.

The first half-hour or so was intriguing, but as soon as I hit the fifty-minute mark, I had to start holding back from just plot-skipping to the end. /Spoilers ahead/ By the end of the first loop, everything else was fairly predictable, and even if it wasn't predictable, I wasn't surprised. The idea is clever and the characters seemed interesting enough at the beginning, but the overall execution was lacking.

A decent enough sci-fi lite time loop movie. It postures itself pretty close to horror, but ends up diffusing any scares in the first act. It pulls out a twist at the end, but one that could be seen coming a mile away.

Better than it looks. At first appearance it seams very cheap teen slashery, and you probably want to roll your eyes just off the cover art there, But its actually better than it appears. Do not watch the trailer on youtube, it gives away far to much of the plot and ruins it. Deff worth a watch though, go for it.

The fact that the main character is in the dark for most of the film is too much of a plot hole for me to look past. A good thought experiment but a struggle with its execution.
